The City of Naples, through its Community Services Department, currently manages an urban forest of 20,773 inventoried trees (148 species).
The department supervises or performs all components of landscape management to public space. The Naples Green Print provides an overview of the care, preservation, pruning, planting, removal, or disposition of City trees and palms.
Maintaining diversity in the tree population is a key consideration for final planting recommendations. The 2024 Naples Green Print provides planned maintenance, management, and restoration of the urban forest in Naples.
